Qingdao: Up to 800 of the best names in the shipping industry are expected to gather in Qingdao this November for the sixth annual World Shipping Summit organised by Cosco. The event’s theme this year will be ‘Changing Priorities’. Hosted at the the Qingdao Shangri-La Hotel, the summit has been coined as the Davos of shipping for all the high calibre ceos and presidents it always draws. “Shipping is tough now, expansion is no longer the driving strategy for shipping, so we choose ‘Changing Priorities’ as the main theme and wish all the participants find your priority to your business,” says Cosco boss Capt Wei Jiafu (pictured).
