Seoul: South Korean yard Sungdong Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering is postponing the construction of a VLCC dock, measuring 545 meters in length and 126 meters in breadth, which was meant to be up and running by the end of 2010. The four skidways the company currently operates are unable to accommodate VLCC construction so there is some questioning as to what the company will do with the two 316,000 dwt VLCCs on its orderbook due for delivery in 2011.
