Sasebo completes Japan's first PSPC-compliant ship

Tokyo: Sasebo Heavy Industries has delivered a landmark Japanese vessel, the first to be built with the Performance Standard for Protective Coatings (PSPC) and the Common Structural Rules (CSR). The 180,000 dwt capesize Alexandra P is the first in the series of 180-type capesizes to be constructed for shipowner Auckland Trading. [16/09/09]
