Samho scores rare Greek order

Seoul: South Korea’s Samho Shipbuilding has received an order for a maximum of six 32,000-dwt handymax bulkers from Greek owner Capital Ship Management for delivery in 2010-2011. Samho built its repuatation as a chemical tanker specialist. Located in Tongyeong city, the yard is not to be confused with the Hyundai Heavy affiliate also called Samho but based in Mopko. Capital booked twelve 25,000 dwt chemical tankers with Samho back in 2007. [17/09/09]
