New bulk cargo carrier built by STX Shipbuilding (Korea) for PRISCO

New bulk cargo carrier Prisco Udokan has been built by STX Shipbuilding (Republic of Korea) for PRISCO, the Corporation reports. Prisco Udokan is the second vessel of the series. Its length is 190 m, breadth - 32 m. The vessel with five cargo holds and four 30-tonne cranes is designed for transportation of dry bulk and loose cargo: grain, iron ore, sulfur, cement and rolled metal.
The vessel is to leave for her maiden voyage on September 25.
As it was reported earlier, PRISCO completed the first stage of its shipbuilding program in June 2009. Four 100,000-dwt tankers and three 51,000-dwt tankers were put into operation in the 6-month period.
