Titan Salvage consolidates Asian operations in Singapore
Singapore: Titan Salvage has enhanced its marine emergency response and wreck removal capabilities in the Far East with the consolidation of its Southeast Asia operating facilities in Singapore. Titan personnel in Singapore began moving into the new complex - a modern, self-contained 45,000 square foot site to the west of the city - last month.
The company says that the new site offers ample warehouse, office and storage areas; provides better facilities for the storage, repair and maintenance of the extensive stock of specialized salvage equipment, and allows for more rapid emergency response in the region.
Titan has increased its personnel significantly through the redeployment of existing workers and the employment of Singapore nationals, all of which are raising TITAN's profile in Singapore and the surrounding region.
Titan, a wholly owned Crowley subsidiary, is a worldwide salvage company based in Pompano Beach, Fla., that has performed over 350 salvage and wreck removal projects since 1980, including some of the most technically demanding projects ever undertaken. The company also has offices and equipment depots in Newhaven, UK as well as Singapore. [17/06/09]
