INTERTANKO Tokyo gathering underway

Tokyo: INTERTANKO's Tokyo Tanker Event kicks off today and runs through to Friday. As well as an executive committee meeting, an annual general meeting and tonight’s gala dinner, a two-day conference starts tomorrow with tanker challenges under the spotlight as well as an update on the Poseidon Challenge. A seperate cultural and entertainment schedule including golf has also been arranged. ‘I hope you enjoy your time in Tokyo and I look forward to meeting you during the coming days,’ Nicholas Fistes, INTERTANKO chairman wrote in a welcoming address.
